Homer Glen Store Sells Winning $250K Ticket

HOMER GLEN, IL — A Romeoville woman is officially $250,000 richer.

Nishita Patel won the top prize on a $250,000 Crossword, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.

Patel purchased the ticket at Homers Liquors, located at 13011 West 143rd Street in Homer Glen.

So, what’s she going to do with the cash?

“I am going to make wise investments,” she said.

Homers Liquors received $2,500, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
