Joliet Township High School District 204 Will Conduct Honors Testing for 8th Graders

Joliet Township High School District 204 will conduct honors placement testing for interested 8th graders on Saturday, October 26 at 8:00 am at Joliet Central and on Saturday, November 2 at 8:00 am at Joliet West.

Interested future Central students should take the test on Saturday, October 26 at Joliet Central High School.  Students report to Joliet Central between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. to the D-Door entrance on Herkimer Street.  Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and conclude by 9:30 a.m.  If there is a conflict with this date, future Central students may attend the November 2nd testing date at Joliet West. 

Interested future West students should take the test on Saturday, November 2 at Joliet West High School.  Students report to Joliet West between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Cafeteria entrance on Glenwood Avenue.  Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and conclude by 9:30 a.m.  If there is a conflict with this date, future West students may attend the October 26th testing date at Joliet Central. 

The purpose of this test is to help determine eligibility for honors classes for 8th grade students who will enter Joliet Township High Schools in the fall of 2014.

All students are welcome to take the honors test. 

*The test may be taken at either campus.  No fees and no registration are necessary.  Please arrive early, no students will be admitted after testing begins.
