Joliet West Grad Lands Bank Veep Job
Joliet West High School alum Robyn Edwards was hired by PeopleFirstBank as the assistant vice president of residential lending.

PeopleFirstBank, a leading full-service commercial bank, today announced the hiring of Robyn Edwards as assistant vice president of residential lending.
Edwards brings over 30 years of financial industry experience to PeopleFirstBank.
Edwards will be responsible for originating and funding mortgage loans and managing the Bank’s secondary mortgage market operation. Her position was created in order to expand the bank’s lending operation and expand mortgage options to more home-buyers in Will County.

In her most recent role, Edwards served for 12 years as an assistant vice president of lending at the Bank of Shorewood. Prior to joining the Bank of Shorewood, she was a mortgage loan consultant at Citibank in Orland Park and Tinley Park.
Edwards also served for more than 10 years as a mortgage loan representative at Amerifed Bank in Joliet.

“Robyn is a welcome addition to our management team. She brings many years of hands-on customer experience and is also well known in our local business community,” said David T. Stanton, president and CEO of PeopleFirstBank.
“Robyn will play a big part in helping us serve the mortgage needs of community members,” Stanon said.
Edwards studied at the Illinois Institute of Financial Education and the Illinois Bankers Association after her graduation from Joliet West High School.
