JTHS Students Receive ACT and PSAE Awards

A total of 102 Joliet Township High School students were recognized for their performance on the ACT and/or PSAE exams at the September Board of Education meeting.

Joliet Township High School designates the ACT Award to students who scored a 30 or higher on their ACT. These students are in the top 5 percent of all students taking the ACT Exam.

The Joliet Central High School students who received the ACT Award were Andrew Matichak and Thomas Roberts. The Illinois State Board of Education designates the PSAE Award to students who exceed state standards in one or more areas on the Prairie State Achievement Exam.
