Mauve Nosh & Libations Opens This Week

Mauve Nosh & Libations will open next week in Shorewood between the Happy Place Cafe and the Will County Brewing Company storefronts.

SHOREWOOD, IL — Tens of thousands of Joliet area residents have read the news stories and seen the social media posts about the Mauve Nosh & Libations. In May, Patch broke the news that the crafted cocktail, wine and small plate bar will be owned by Nick Pena and Kala Bieniek Saunders and opening in Shorewood.

It's locating on Route 52 near the Walgreens.

People have waited and wondered all summer, frequently asking, when will Mauve open? This week, the answer came. The interior renovations are done. Mauve will open the day after Labor Day, which is Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Even though it has not even opened yet, Mauve already has more than 2,500 Facebook followers and nearly 2,200 Facebook likes.

On Tuesday, Mauve made the following announcement on its Facebook page:"THE WAIT IS FINALLY OVER! We are excited to announce that Grand Opening to the public is September 7-10, 3PM-10PM and September 11, 11:30AM-11PM.

"To ensure that everyone gets to experience Mauve, we are requesting a 2 Hour limit for guests.
21+ ONLY."
