Men's Health Month Comes with Important Reminders
Will County Health Department spokesman Vic Reato suggests taking a common sense approach: Schedule a visit with your doctor.

June is Men’s Health Month, a reminder to all the men out there (and the women who care about them) that it’s important to have a health and wellness plan in place all year long, said Vic Reato, media services manager with the Will County Health Department.
“Men often delay healthcare, and visits to the doctor until telltale symptoms appear,” Reato said in a news release. “The Will County Health Department suggests that a wellness plan is a better way to go and offers this list of tips and screening reminders to help men develop a workable health plan.”

“Using the warm weather as a trigger to get active and schedule a visit with your doctor is a great way to being living a healthy lifestyle,” Reato said.
Reato said the Will County Community Health Center (1106 Neal Ave., Joliet) offers primary healthcare and dental services six days a week by appointment. To schedule an appointment, call 815-727-8670.
