Merry Presidents Day!
Pick your president on the most popular holiday in America.

Did you know that Presidents Day is the most celebrated holiday in America?
Really, it is. I just read it on Wikipedia.
So in honor of Presidents Day, write in to us and let us know which president is your favorite. Take your time. You have the whole day to do it, and there are so many to choose from.

It's nice that all the presidents get this one day of respect. Nice for all of them but Washington, that is. He had the day all to himself (well the day after, Feb. 22, his birthday, but close enough) for more than 100 years until the mid-'80s (I got that off of Wikipedia too).
And who do you think got the country to change the name? Was it the politicians, historians, precocious school children? No, no and no. It was car dealers, who wanted the name for an advertising ploy so they could sell more cars. Great.

I guess Washington doesn't need the day anyway. He is on the dollar, and that's pretty good. But still, he was the first president. And he didn't lie. He had that going for him.
At any rate, hit us in the comments section with who you think is the greatest of the presidents, or else let us know if you feel Washington should get the day back for himself again and not have to share it with the likes of Taft or Garfield or Fillmore.
If anybody's comments are particularly entertaining maybe you'll get a free, officially licensed Patch.com tote bag out of it. I think we have a few of them laying around here somewhere.
