No Injuries in 6-Vehicle Crash in Joliet

There were no injuries in a six-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, according to a release from the Illinois State Police.

The crash occurred at 7:44 a.m. on I-80 westbound just east of Houbolt Ave. in Joliet and caused a lane blockage. The cause of the crash was due to heavy traffic exiting onto the Houbolt Ave. ramp.

All vehicles have been relocated off the interstate for follow-up processing, according to the release. All lane blockage has been cleared and the roadway is open.
