Today:
- Ballroom Dance: Stop in the Timbers for a special Paddy's Day ballroom dance. The 10-piece Jay Mau Orchestra will perform from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Public is welcome. Admission is free.
Tonight:
- Storytime: St. Patrick's Day Family Storytime at the Shorewood-Troy Public Library. 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 650 Deerwood Drive. Free.
- The Crowd Around Me: Stop in for drink specials, corned beef and cabbage and a DJ. 103 E. Jefferson St. No cover.
- Perfect Guinness: Find Guinness on tap expertly poured at the Bullpen, Bedrock's, Buffalo Wild Wings and The Crowd Around Me. Costs range from $4 to $6 per pint.

- Irish Dinner: Join St. Patrick's Parish for their annual Irish dinner. Eat corned beef and cabbage 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 710 W. Marion St., Joliet. Mass is at 4:30 p.m. Irish dancers perform at 6:00 p.m., with the bell choir to follow. There will be a DJ and cash bar. There will also be baked goods for sale. Cost is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors and $7 for children over four.
