RE/MAX Hosting Book Signing For 'The Boy Next Door'
Author Peggy Lindgren began writing many years ago, but never took herself seriously until she retired from managing a dental practice.
SHOREWOOD, IL — Last year, Shorewood author Peggy Lindgren wrote a book about her neighbor Mark Staehely called "The Boy Next Door." This week, a book signing will take place at the RE/MAX office of Dawn Dause on Route 59 in Shorewood.
The event goes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. The RE/MAX office is at 850 Brook Forest Ave. Suite Q.

The Boy Next Door was published during COVID, on March 26, 2020, Dause noted.
"This is a story about how an ordinary boy who was faced with a terminal illness became extraordinary and captured my heart," the author revealed. "A 12 year- old boy diagnosed with cancer begins a journey of giving back and caring more about others than himself."
