Residential Electronics & Hazardous Waste Drop-off, April 8th, 8am-3pm

Drop off TVs, Computers, Printers, Household Chemicals, Auto Fluids, Fluorescent Bulbs, Paint. One day event at Troy Middle School.

An electronics & household hazardous waste recycling event is slated for 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at Troy Middle School and Troy Wm Orenic School, 5800 W. Theodore St, Plainfield. The event is free and sponsored by the Will County Land Use Department Resource Recovery & Energy Division.
Residents can drop off unwanted items including electronics, hazardous materials and liquids.
There is a drop off limit of two TVs per vehicle (ID required).
Accepted items include TVs, computers, telephones, used oil, household chemicals, latex and oil-based paints, lawn and garden chemicals, batteries and more.

Items not accepted include VHS/cassettes, smoke detectors, ammunition, fire works, business waste, and more.
