Route 66 Cruise Night Next Week in Downtown Joliet

Route 66 Joliet Cruise Night is June 27** in downtown Joliet. Here are the details from the city of Joliet, which sent out this news release on the event:

Fast cars and warm summer nights go hand in hand, and tonight is another Thursday’s Route 66 Joliet Cruise Night. Legendary classic dragsters take over Chicago Street in downtown Joliet from 6 to 9pm. 

As always, admission is free for this full night of summertime family fun for everyone. Stroll among the area’s finest collection of meticulously restored dragsters on display and there’s plenty of other classic and vintage cars on hand as well.

You’ll be thrilled by the heart-pounding sound of the dragster’s engines and the Route 66 Cruise Night Gals will have information on upcoming Cruise Nights, discount offers from local merchants and more.

Enjoy dinner and drink specials from your favorite downtown Joliet restaurants and reminisce about the days when muscle cars ruled the road.
