Shorewood Lions Club Names Students Of The Month

SHOREWOOD, IL - The Shorewood Lions Club recently announced its students of the month in Troy Community School District 30-C for September 2017. Students were selected and grouped through their schools and recognized at a Lions Club board meeting this month.

Rylee Boyd, Makayla Jones, Emerson Ziesmer and Caden Baudek were selected from William B. Orenic Intermediate School and Brooke Bell, Autumn Allen, Lisa Thompson, Marie Hohisel, David Conners, Jacob Seyl, Delanie Nicoletti and Sara Spreitzer were selected from Troy Middle School.

Lions Club President Noelle Viola said the students were selected by an advisory team on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class.

In addition to certificates from the Shorewood Lions Club, the students received gifts from Outback Steakhouse in Joliet and from Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store in Plainfield.
