Shorewood Lions Club Names Students Of The Month

SHOREWOOD, IL - The Shorewood Lions Club recognized the Troy Community School District 30-C November Students of the Month at the school district’s December school board meeting, according to a news release from the organization. The following students received certificates from the Shorewood Lions Club and a gift from the Cold Stone Creamery in Shorewood.

From William B. Orenic Intermediate School: 6th Grade Students Alaina Grabill, Saniya Newman, Samantha Patrick and Zachary Taylor

From Troy Middle School: 7th and 8th Grade Students Lennon Ashcraft, Cailey Koerner, Abigail McCune, Sofia Mejia, Han Nguyen, Natalie Schildhouse, Araceli Sotelo and Isabella Ulloa

Lions Club President Noelle Viola said the students were selected by an advisory team on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class.
