Shorewood Looking For Free Tree
The Village of Shorewood wants to get a Community Holiday Tree on the cheap, or more accurately on the free.

If you happen to have a 30-foot tall pine tree you're just dying to get rid of, then does the have a deal for you.
The village will deploy a work crew to remove the tree from your property.
And not only that, but the tree will be used as the official Community Holiday Tree of the Village of Shorewood for this holiday season.

But not just any old tree will do.
In addition to standing at least 30-feet tall, prospective Community Holiday Trees need to have a trunk no thinner than 12 inches in diameter, said Shorewood Recreation Supervisor Linda McCluskey.
