Shorewood Man Attacks Woman At Double J Sports Bar: Police
Andres Ochoa, a 25-year-old Shorewood resident, was booked into the Will County Jail on charges of domestic battery. His bail is $50,000.

JOLIET, IL — A 25-year-old Shorewood resident faces a $50,000 bail after Joliet police say he attacked a woman on Christmas Eve, beating her, biting her and stabbing her in the hand with a pen in the parking lot of the Double J Sports Bar at 1001 Essington Road.
After the attack was reported, Joliet police arrested Andres Ochoa at his house in Shorewood located in the 100 block of Ridge Drive. Ochoa was booked into the Will County Jail on charges of domestic battery.
Ochoa's arrest happened around 12:40 a.m. on Dec. 24.

Joliet police say Ochoa beat the woman while they were in the parking lot of the Double J.
"As both were leaving in a vehicle, Ochoa punched the victim in the head, bit her hand, and stabbed her hand with a pen," police announced. "They arrived at the 100 block of Ridge Drive in Shorewood, at which time they continued to argue outside of the residence."

Shorewood police initially responded to the call, and Joliet police were later notified after it was determined the domestic violence incident occurred in Joliet city limits, authorities said.
Ochoa was put in handcuffs and booked into the Will County Jail around 2:40 a.m.
The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries, according to police reports.
