Shorewood Man Dies At Age 24: Drug-Induced Homicide Charges For Woman Who Moved To Colorado
Trent grew up in Shorewood and was a graduate of Plainfield South High School, his obituary noted.

SHOREWOOD, IL — The Shorewood Police Department has been involved in a suspicious death investigation for the past two-and-a-half years, and the investigation resulted in this week's felony arrest of 34-year-old Briana Trumbo of Thornton, Colorado on drug-induced homicide charges.
Trumbo has remained in the Will County Jail after Shorewood Police captured her and brought her back to Will County. The drug-induced homicide of 24-year-old Shorewood resident Trent "TD" Veleker happened in late September 2023. Veleker was found dead inside the Shorewood house on Summit Creek Drive. The drug that took his life was fentanyl.
Shorewood's Police Department was called to the house where Veleker's body was found, and the agency's detectives have been investigating the circumstances of his death ever since.

As for Trumbo, she was residing in Crest Hill at the time of Veleker's death, and she was often living in Shorewood, too, at the mobile home park located at 106 E. Jefferson St. near Route 59.
In recent times, Trumbo had moved away from the Joliet area and was living in Colorado.

According to his obituary posted by Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Joliet,Veleker died unexpectedly, on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023. He was born in Hinsdale and grew up in Shorewood and was a graduate of Plainfield South High School.
"Trent loved the outdoors. He enjoyed playing disc golf with his friends, sitting by the water with a fishing pole in his hand, and going on hikes through the forest," his obituary read. "He was an avid Chicago Bulls and Cubs fan, had a passion for cooking, and just like his father, was an awesome guitarist. Above everything he did in his life, he was most proud of being a father to his two beautiful girls."
