Shorewood Man Dies Following Single-Vehicle Accident

A Shorewood man has died after his vehicle left the roadway in a one-vehicle accident at around 9 a.m. Thursday, March 31.

Wendell Mathison, 64, was traveling in the northbound lanes of Interstate 39 near the Troy Grove exit when his vehicle “left the roadway and entered the center median before the vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest on its roof in the center median,” according to a report from WSPY News.

Mathison was pronounced dead at the scene.
