Shorewood Man Faces Cocaine Charges

SHOREWOOD, IL — A criminal complaint filed last week against 42-year-old Shorewood resident Steven Heise accuses him of dealing cocaine on June 28 as well as the controlled substance known as alprazolam.

Heise has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. A third charge accuses him of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, which was cocaine.

Heise, who lives in the 1600 block of Fieldstone Drive, was taken into custody by Shorewood Police and delivered to the Will County Jail on the morning of June 28.

His bail was set at $500,000 and so far, he remains unable to come up with 10 percent to post as bond, jail logs show.
