Shorewood Man With Revoked License Faces 4th DUI Charge
The 46-year-old Shorewood resident involved in a wreck with two other vehicles was driving on a revoked license, Joliet police said.

SHOREWOOD, IL — A 46-year-old Shorewood man is now in the Will County Jail facing felony DUI charges following a wreck Sunday evening along Black Road near the Six Corners intersection.
Joliet police say Juan G. Martinez, who lives in the 1100 block of Harvest Drive, faces charges of aggravated DUI, DUI and driving while license revoked. Martinez was booked into the county jail around 2:50 a.m. Monday.
The Will County State's Attorney's Office criminal complaint indicates that Sunday night's arrest marks the fourth DUI for Martinez. He has previous DUI convictions from May 16, 2012 in Cook County, Dec. 1, 2012 from in Cook County and Feb. 17, 2000 in Doralville, Georgia.

Joliet police learned of the crash near Black Road and Cowles Avenue around 6 p.m. Sunday.
"Martinez was driving a vehicle westbound on Black Road near six corners at which time his vehicle sideswiped a vehicle that was stopped in the left turn lane for eastbound Black Road at six corners," Joliet police announced.

Police said the Shorewood man lost control of his vehicle, hitting another vehicle which was eastbound on Black Road at Cowles Avenue.
All of the people involved in the crash refused to go to the hospital, police said.
According to Joliet police, Martinez showed signs of alcohol impairment and "Martinez advised he consumed alcohol prior to the collision."
He failed sobriety tests given by Joliet police officers and that is when he was placed into custody, police reports reflect.
"It was also determined that Martinez was driving with a revoked driver’s license," police spokesman Dwayne English said.
