Shorewood Police to Hand Out Glow Necklaces to Trick-or-Treaters

Halloween is Friday, Oct. 31.

This Friday, trick-or-treating is from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Village of Shorewood.

Police on Wednesday announced they will be out in force for the holiday and handing out glow-in-the-dark necklaces to trick-or-treaters.

“As always to police department will be out in force insuring the safety of our residents and handing out our always popular glow necklaces,” police said. ”The weather report for the evening appears a bit frightful, so dress warm!”

Trick-or-treating is from 4 to 7 in nearby Joliet and Plainfield.
