Shorewood School Threat Wasn't Credible: Police
The investigation continues and no arrests have been made.

SHOREWOOD, IL — Elementary students in the Troy School District have been having indoor recess this week after police officials put school administrators on high alert about a safety threat. After conducting an investigation the past couple days, Shorewood Police have announced there is no credible threat to Shorewood.
"The joint investigation between the Shorewood Police Department and the FBI regarding the threat of violence towards an undisclosed location in Shorewood continues," police announced on social media. "One thing we can report is that we and our FBI partners have determined no credible threat exists to any location in or around Shorewood.
"While we continue to investigate this incident, we hope that this information eases the frustration some have experienced. We appreciate everyone’s patience and support while we work diligently to bring this investigation to a conclusion."
