Short End of the Shorewood Rewind

One of the most interesting things of last week won't be figured out until today.

There was an awful lot of talk last week about who is really the shortest man in the world.

There's this one guy from the Phillipines, but now another one from Nepal might be even shorter.

Officials from the Guinness Book of World Records are going to sort this out and declare once and for all which of these two men is shorter. As a matter of fact, these officials are in Nepal right now and might be measuring Mr. Chandra Bahadur Dangi at this very moment.

We applaud the Guinness Book of World Records for clearing up all the confusion but must admit we're still sort of skeptical about the whole thing. We mean, come on, how is Shorewood not part of this conversation?

If something's the best — the biggest, the smallest, the fastest, the furiousest — you can bet is somehow involved. We doubt the Guiness Book of World's Record's staff has even checked Shorewood to see if it might have the world's smallest man.

And we think we know why. It comes down to jealousy. The world is jealous of Shorewood. You can't blame the world for this. Shorewood's better than everywhere else, and that's going to cause some resentment. It is what it is.

We can live with it. We're already living with it. So let's take a look at what happened while we were living with it last week as we present another SHOREWOOD REWIND:
