A sergeant on the scene believed the 16-year-old matched the description of a youth wanted for an armed robbery that morning on Grover Street.
In that case, a teen brandished a pump-action shotgun at a man who had just gotten out of a car parked on Grover. The youth then demanded all the man’s money. The man told the teen he had no cash but surrendered his cigarettes.
