State Fair's Discount Pass For Unlimited Rides Ends Saturday

This is your last chance to save an extra $10 on unlimited carnival rides.

Screaming their heads off is just part of the fun this summer at the Illinois State Fair.

For ten days in August, children of all ages can flip and zip and spin and flop as many times as they like. Now through Saturday, they can also save $10 doing it.

The Mega Pass offers unlimited turns on over 100 rides for the entire fair, Aug. 12-21 in Springfield. The regular price is $65. Through Saturday, July 16, click here to purchase it online for only $55 each plus a $3 convenience fee per order. The pass is also good on preview night, Aug. 11.

Gate admission to the fair is not included in the cost of the pass.

The Mega Drop is one of the more popular rides. It sends passengers on a 130-foot plunge straight down. Turbo Force, another busy ride, flips and spins in a complete revolution.

The pass does not include the Tram, Sky Glide or Giant Slide.
