Three Times the Blessings for Shorewood Family
Family welcomes triplets at Presence St. Joe's hospital.

On Oct. 3, a Shorewood family doubled in size within minutes. Sarah and Stephen Ormins, and their little 3-year-old daughter, Violet, welcomed the addition of three babies to their family.
Triplets Rose, Thomas and Jamie were 3 lbs, 14 oz; 4 lbs, 15 oz; and 4 lbs, 4 oz, respectively, and all very healthy born at 34 weeks.

The one girl and two boys were delivered at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet via cesarean section by Dr. Russell Khater. Dr. Guillermo Font, Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist, had advised bedrest for Sarah and a nutritionist helped her maintain a healthy diet helping to ensure her healthy pregnancy and delivery.
The happy parents were prepared for the birth of the triplets. They bought plenty of diapers, wipes and formula.

“All they really need is lots of love, and we can provide that,” Sarah said.
