Timbers Program Will Teach How to Deal With Change

An upcoming program at The Timbers of Shorewood will use a popular book to give lessons on dealing with change.

Arlene Albert of DeerBrook Care Center will be at The Timbers of Shorewood on Thursday to present a program titled, “Who Moved My Cheese?” based on popular book of the same title.

The event begins at 2 p.m. at the 1100 N. River Road retirement community.

Published in 1998, “Who Moved My Cheese?” was written by Dr. Spencer Johnson. It’s a fable about two people and two mice and how they deal with change.

Despite its simple lessons, "Who Moved My Cheese?" is a profound book that reveals how we often get stuck in the past and helping us to move on.

The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments as well as a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
