The Troy Community School District 30-C school board recognized its September 2022 Students of the Month at its October school board meeting. Presenting the awards were Troy Middle School Assistant Principal Matthew Stortz and William B. Orenic Intermediate School 6th Grade Principal Kelly Landers.

William B. Orenic Intermediate School Students of the Month are 6th graders Cecilia Casas, Morgan Earl, Ramses Fagbemi and Raylee Pleshar.


Troy Middle School Students of the Month are 7th graders Ciana Brust, Brendan Chew, Addison Keim and Emma Trainor, and 8th graders Austin Baranak, Devion Campbell, Aaliyah Henningsen and Sania Taylor.

Students were selected on the basis of consistent effort, productive citizenship, positive attitude and participation in class. For the honor, the students received Student of the Month certificates and pins, a Student of the Month pencil, an Amazon gift card and a certificate from Big Frog Custom T-shirts for a custom-printed Student of the Month shirt.
