SHOREWOOD, IL — Troy Baseball, a cornerstone of youth athletics in Shorewood, will celebrate its 45th season this spring. Spring 2026 marks more than four decades of competition, community, and lifelong memories made on and off the field. Registration is open with programs available for children ages 3-14. The milestone season kicks off with a special Opening Day ceremony on May 2, launching a spring filled with events honoring Troy Baseball’s rich history and the generations of players, families, volunteers, and supporters who have shaped the program since its founding.

Troy Baseball is calling on the entire community to help make this anniversary season unforgettable.

In addition to current players and families, the organization invites former players to dust off their glove and return to the ballpark and be part of the celebration.

“We want to pack the stands with familiar faces from every era of Troy Baseball,” said league representatives. “This program has meant so much to so many people, and the 45th season is about celebrating that shared legacy together.”

As part of the Opening Day festivities, former Troy players will have the opportunity to participate in an alumni wiffle ball game or throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
