Troy Schools Welcome 3 New Administrators

A rapidly growing district, Troy consists of five elementary schools, one intermediate school and one middle school.

SHOREWOOD, IL - The new school year is off and running and Troy Community School District 30-C has hired three new administrators this fall. The additions are Mark Baumann, assistant director of transportation services, assistant principal Katie Hogan and Pamela Maxey, director of early childhood education.

According to Troy schools, Baumann joined Troy four years ago as a transportation dispatcher. The district notes that his background is in business and finance. As for Hogan, she takes over as assistant principal at Troy Cronin Elementary School. She graduated from Illinois State and has a master's from the University of Illinois. Before coming to Troy, Hogan taught first and fifth grades at Wayne Thomas Elementary School, where she also had administrative duties, the district noted.

The other new addition, Maxey, received her bachelor's from the University of Northern Iowa and her master's from North Central College in Naperville. Maxey taught in Chicago and was a literacy adviser in Cameroon, Africa. Before coming to Troy, Maxey worked at the East Aurora School District.
