Two Men And A Truck Makes A Move For Breast Cancer Awareness
Two Men And A Truck moving company managers from the Shorewood, Orland Park, Elmhurst and Chicago-Midway locations donate $1,000 to ACS

October customer promotion nets $1,000 for ACS
Shorewood, Illinois-- Cancer in its many forms has touched nearly every family in the U.S. in some way. According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), the best way to fight this disease is by increasing awareness, promoting early detection and supporting continued research to find a cure.
During October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month, many local businesses, private groups, service organizations and individuals stepped up to contribute toward the goal of eliminating this disease.
True to their mission as “Movers Who Care,” Two Men And A Truck decorated moving vans with pink ribbons, printed forms on pink paper and pledged $5 for each customer response card returned from moves completed in October.
The company received 172 total response cards from its four locations (Elmhurst, Orland Park, Chicago-Midway and Shorewood) netting $860 for the cause. Office staff added an additional $140 to boost the total donation to $1,000!

“Even though Breast Cancer Awareness Month is over, we encourage everyone to continue their efforts and donations toward fighting cancer,” said Nancy Johnson, general manager for all four Two Men And A Truck locations.
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK movers would like to remind everyone to schedule a routine checkup with their doctor and encourage friends and family members to do the same. Detecting cancer in its earliest stages greatly increases the odds of beating the disease.
