Unwanted Woman Arrested By Shorewood Police Had Failure Appear Arrest Warrant In DuPage County: Police

SHOREWOOD, IL — A 26-year-old woman from Bolingbrook now finds herself incarcerated in the Will County Jail after the Shorewood Police Department took her into custody over the weekend.

According to the Shorewood police arrest logs, the arrest of Mariah Dixon happened around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday in the 500 block of Sean Drive. Dixon comes from Taylor Court in Bolingbrook.

The Shorewood police arrest logs indicated that the officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of Sean Drive in reference to an unwanted subject. According to the police, officers came in contact with the unwanted individual and learned she had a valid, servable DuPage County arrest warrant for failure to appear in court.

Dixon was subsequently arrested and taken to the Will County Jail.
