Vintage Bazaar at the Timbers of Shorewood
Professionals from Vintage Pickers will reveal to participants the age, origin, and value of their coins, antiques, jewelry, and more.

The Timbers of Shorewood is hosting a free Vintage Bazaar from 1 – 4 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the Timbers retirement community located at 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood. The event is free and open to the public.
An expert team of professionals from Vintage Pickers will reveal to participants the age, origin, and value of their coins, antiques, jewelry, and collectibles. In addition, thousands of pieces of costume jewelry will be for sale, and there will be opportunities to buy, sell, or trade items.
Millions of people enjoy the TV shows Antiques Roadshow, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars.

“There’s a fascination with the items of the past, perhaps because they preserve culture and history,” said Linda McCluskey, director of activities at The Timbers. “They also can be a great investment.”
The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community that provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Residents whose needs may change are able to stay in the same place and receive appropriate and compassionate care. Furnished apartments are also available for short-term stays.
