Will County Board Member Going For Another Term
Shorewood resident Don Gould announced he is going for another term on the county board.

Will County Board Member Don Gould (R-Shorewood) has announced his candidacy for re-election in 2012.
"I am committed to the future of Will County and its residents," said Gould, who first made it onto the board in December 2002.
Gould serves as Chairman of the Will County Public Health and Safety Committee. He recently chaired the once in a decade, bi-partisan county reapportionment committee, which redistricted all county board districts. The reapportionment plan was overwhelmingly approved by the county board and county executive.

Last year, Gould's fellow board members elected him vice president of the Will County Forest Preserve District. County Executive Larry Walsh re-appointed him to the Will County Board of Health in 2010.
“I’m very honored to lead these committees and appreciate the confidence that members on both sides of the aisle have placed in me," Gould said. "I’ve given it 100 percent, and am committed to continued fiscal responsibility, improving health services, and expanding recreational opportunities in District 6 and throughout Will County.”
