Will County Circuit Clerk Pam McGuire Won't Seek Re-Election

Pamela J. McGuire has announced she will not be seeking re-election for a sixth term in 2016 for the Office of Will County Circuit Clerk of Court, according to a press release from McGuire. However, she will continue to serve out her current term.

“It has been my pleasure and honor to serve as your Will County Circuit Clerk of Court for the last 19 years,” McGuire said. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Will County, those who endorsed me, my family and my staff for their support, confidence and trust through the years.”

McGuire said her staff has done an excellent job fulfilling the mission of the office by showing courtesy and respect while operating efficiently.

McGuire has thrown her support behind Andrea Lynn Chasteen, who will be seeking the nomination for Will County Circuit Clerk of Court in the 2016 election.

“Andrea has the passion, desire, experience and knowledge of the Clerk’s Office to continue to innovate while maintaining the integrity of the Court’s records putting partisan politics aside,” McGuire said in the release.
