3 Businesses Could Replace Rodeway Inn Building
A Chick-fil-A could be among the businesses opening near Skokie Boulevard and Emerson Street.

A trio of businesses could replace what has been a hotel have near Skokie Boulevard and Emerson Street in Skokie for more than a half-century.
Several measures that would help a Chick-fil-A eatery, Bank of America branch and AAA Car Care Auto Service open on the site where the Rodeway Inn building stands today were approved by plan commissioners last week, according to the Skokie Review.
The plan includes the demolition of the Rodeway Inn, which had previously been a Howard Johnson’s. One of the current buildings was constructed in 1963 and the other in 1970. They have always been used for lodging.
