$400,000 Winning Lotto Ticket Sold At Skokie 7-Eleven

All 5 numbers on the Lucky Day Lotto ticket matched during the Tuesday midday drawing.

SKOKIE, IL – A ticket sold at a Skokie convenience store is now worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, so if you or someone you know bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket at the 7-Eleven, 8357 Skokie Blvd., for the Tuesday midday drawing, make sure to take a second look.

Someone bought a Quick Pick ticket matching all five numbers – 1, 17, 24, 27 and 44 – to win a prize of $400,000.

For selling the winning ticket, the 7-Eleven will get a bonus of 1 percent of the prize amount, in this case $4,000, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The lottery urged the winner to sign the back of the ticket right away and then put it in a safe place until visiting one of the prize centers, which are located in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield and Fairview Heights.

The winner has a year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.

According to the lottery, more than 12,000 buyers of tickets won between $1 and $200 in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. Such drawings take place twice a day, seven days a week.
