Anti-Abortion Demonstration Planned in Lincolnwood
A pro-life group plans to post graphic images of aborted fetuses on a street in Lincolnwood next week.
Lincolnwood, IL - A pro-life group is bringing its message - complete with graphic photos of aborted fetuses - to Lincolnwood.
The Pro-Life Action League is organizing the protest and demonstration at the corner of Touhy Avenue and McCormick Boulevard from 3-4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13. The stop in Lincolnwood is one of 24 planned by the group throughout Chicagoland this month.
“When we show the victims, abortion comes front-and-center into a community and this gets people talking about it,” said Pro-Life Action League Executive Director Eric Scheidler in a news release. “Precisely because abortion is so astoundingly destructive — and has touched so very many lives — nobody wants to talk about it. That silence must be broken, and that’s why we continue to jump start these conversations.”

The group says the reason for the photos is to show “the truth about abortion and what it does to unborn children.”
