On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, the Skokie Public Works Department will be replacing a broken
fire hydrant on Skokie Boulevard between Davis and Grove Streets. During the
replacement, the southbound, right driving and parking lanes on Skokie
Boulevard will be closed. There will be at least one southbound lane open at
all times. The repair project and lane closures will continue through Wednesday,
April 17, 2019. During this time, please consider an alternate route if
