Blotter: Plant Hanger Nabbed, Shirts Stolen

The following arrest information was supplied by the Skokie Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Resist, Obstruct Or Attempt to Disarm an Officer
Amteh Zaya, 21, of Skokie was arrested on charges of resisting, obstructing or disarming an officer. Zaya was a passenger during a traffic stop on the 8300 block of Crawford Avenue on June 30 when police say he attempted to leave the scene and not provide proper information.

Retail Theft
A man removed four men's shirts from at T.J. Maxx, 3337 Golf Road, and left the store in a blue 2-door vehicle on June 28 at 10 a.m.

Theft
An unknown offender entered the rear yard of a home on the 7600 block of East Prairie, between 6:40 and 8:40 a.m. June 29 and removed the wrought iron plant hanger.

An unknown offender removed an iPhone 4 from the Niles West football field bleachers between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. on June 30. 

Criminal Damage to Property
Unknown offenders used spray paint to write graffiti on the metal power line towers on the 9400 block of Terminal Avenue, at 11:45 a.m. on June 28.

Arrests
A 16-year-old was arrested on charges of retail theft, on the 4800 block of Old Orchard Road on June 28.

Rebecca P. Golden, 26, of Skokie, was arrested on charges of failure to give aid or information, on the 9000 block of Kolmar Avenue on June 30.
