Why Crowdfund?

When was the last time were you trying to raise funds for your small business, to publish a book, to film a movie, or any other purpose? Raising money is tough. Just go to the bank, if you don't trust me. Crowdfunding gives you an opportunity not only to raise funds, but to promote your product before it is even launched! Pre-marketing, what a great concept. There is no better proof of concept than that.

You can crowdfund for almost anything you want, your art project, your new video game, a charity, or a project in your community. Do you want to see that play staged? Crowdfund it. Do you want an organic community garden? Crowdfund it as well. 

It does not mean that as soon as you create a project on the website, the money will flow. The website is a tool and you are a tool master. Raising funds is work, but not raising funds could mean not realizing your dreams.
