Jack Schooley, University of Illinois Extension educator, will introduce Conservation@Home, a program that educates and certifies homeowners, schools, and communities that use conservation-minded landscaping practices to create healthier habitats for wildlife and pollinators.
Pam Karlson, educator and regional speaker on native gardening, will present on Homegrown National Park, a nationwide movement dedicated to inspiring people to plant native species and remove invasive plants in their yards and neighborhoods. These simple actions can have a significant impact on restoring and protecting the ecosystems that support birds, pollinators, and other wildlife.
