What happens when a family decides to hold a séance for Jerry Garcia on the anniversary of his death? Waiting for Jerry Garcia — a new play by Dan Zellner, directed by Steven Yandell — is about to find out.
Three family members, played by Becca Blatt, Drew Mierzejewski and Tyler Skaafgard, gather around a séance table, each carrying their own hopes, regrets, and unfinished business. What follows is funny, tender, and surprisingly moving — a comedy about life choices, failed dreams, and what it means to love someone you never knew.
The evening doesn't stop there. A live acoustic Grateful Dead jam session and community sing-along follows the performance, led by musician Jim Cullom and featuring The Uke Jammers with Mitch Thomas. Bring your acoustic instrument. Bring your voice. Just show up.
