Car Burglary Suspect Nabbed at Old Orchard Mall

Police have charged the 23-year-old in relation to several incidents in November and December.

SKOKIE, IL - Skokie police believe they have found the man responsible for a series of car burglaries during November and the early part of December. It’s a Skokie resident.

Christian A. Garcia-Palomo, 23, of the 5200 block of Lee Street was taken into custody on Dec. 7 in the parking lot of Westfield Old Orchard Mall following a call of vehicles being burglarized there, according to the Skokie Review.

He was charged with burglary to a motor vehicle, felony attempted burglary to a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property after police linked him to at least seven incidents between Nov. 2 and the date of his arrest.
