Car Crashes Into Pita Inn in Skokie
No one was injured the the crash, which occurred Monday before lunchtime.

A car crashed into the Pita Inn in Skokie Monday morning before lunchtime, but no one was injured.
Pita Inn Manager Belal Tabahi heard the crash just before 11 a.m., according to CBS-2-Chicago.
“And we heard like a big sound from the front windows – like breaking down and a car was… probably she pushed the gas instead of the brake. She tried to stop,” Tabahi said.

There were two women inside the Honda Accord at the time of the crash. Employees were cleaning up glass and motor oil following the incident to allow the Dempster Street bakery to remain open for customers.
