Car Crashes Into Skokie 7-11; Two Injured

Sunday afternoon accident sends worker, customer to hospital.

Two were hospitalized Sunday afternoon with minor injuries after a car slammed into a 7-Eleven in Skokie.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the driver of the sedan was parking the car outside the store at 3441 W. Church St. around 3:30 p.m. and accidentally accelerated, “crashing through the front window of the store and into the cashier’s station.”

A worker and customer who were both struck by the vehicle and debris were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
