Car Seat Safety Checks at the Skokie Farmers’ Market

Visit the market on Sunday, September 25, 2016 for the car seat safety check event with the Skokie Health Department.

Visit the market on Sunday, September 25, 2016 for the car seat safety check event with the Skokie Health Department, which coincides with Child Passenger Safety Week. When used correctly, car seats help to transport your most precious cargo safely. By appointment only, so please register by calling 847/933-8252. Inspections take place from 9 a.m. to noon.

Car seats must already be installed in the vehicle. Licensed staff will perform a safety seat check and provide recommendations to meet the highest safety standards. Staff present unfortunately cannot install car seats, but can make adjustments to the installed seat.

The Market is open Sundays through November 6 from 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and located in the Village Hall parking lot at 5127 Oakton Street.
