Church Street Detour
Church Street between Lavergne and Lawler Avenues on March 7, 2019
On March 7, 2019, the Skokie Public Works Department will be repairing a broken water main in the westbound lanes on Church Street between Lavergne and Lawler Avenues. During construction, there will be traffic lane reconfigurations.
There will be at least one lane of traffic open in each direction on Church Street at all times. Southbound Lavergne Avenue will be detoured east down an alley to Weber Park Place, then south back to Church Street. The repair project and lane closure will continue through the end of the day Thursday, March 7, 2019. During this time, please consider an alternate route if possible.
