Church Street Detour to Continue Through March 8
Repairs and detour will continue for at least another day.
On March 8, 2019, the Skokie Public Works Department will continue repairing a
broken water main in the westbound lanes on Church Street between Lavergne and
Lawler Avenues. During construction, there will be traffic lane re-configurations
with at least one lane of traffic open in each direction on Church Street at all
times. Southbound Lavergne Avenue will be detoured east down an alley to Weber
Park Place, then south back to Church Street. The repair project and lane
closure will continue through at least the end of the day Thursday, March 8,
2019. During this time, please consider an alternate route if possible. For
