Community Invited to Skokie’s Illinois Bicentennial Flag Raising

Illinois Bicentennial Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 12 to 12:20 p.m. in Skokie at Village Hall.

Skokie Mayor George Van Dusen invites the entire community to join him, members of the Village Board, Village staff and students from Lincoln Junior High School at an Illinois Bicentennial Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 12 to 12:20 p.m. The ceremony will be held at Skokie Village Hall, 5127 Oakton Street, Skokie.

Skokie joins numerous other Illinois counties and communities also holding Illinois Bicentennial flag raising ceremonies at noon on December 4. The ceremonies kick-off a yearlong, state-wide bicentennial celebration leading up to the December 3, 2018, Illinois Bicentennial anniversary.
